He graduated from Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology with a diploma in Funeral Services Education in 2003. After completing his internship at Cardinal Funeral Homes in Toronto, Colin worked at various Funeral Homes, before moving to Iroquois Falls in 2006. He felt immediately at home, and decided this is where he wanted to settle down, and one day maybe raise a family of his own. Colin is very active in the community. He is a VCARS volunteer, a Director for the MIC's Group of Heath Services, a member of the Iroquois Falls Lions Club, a member of  Porquis Recreation Association  and he is the Treasurer of  the Iroquois Falls Chamber of Commerce.
